Marilyn Pfeiffer Hake has spent many years of her adult life capturing the images of people and scenery through her detailed pencil illustrations. She lives in Kansas, and her experiences there have enabled her to bring to life the flavor of the Midwest. Her work is a study, allowing one to ponder what lies behind those faces and images, and is featured on notecards and various sizes of prints.
She attended Marymount College in Salina, Kansas. She is mainly self-taught. Marilyn and her husband Clarence live near Tipton, Kansas and are the parents of seven children.
